Who We Are
The Legal Advice and Referral Clinic (LARC) provides free direct legal assistance to self-represented debtors who need assistance with their bankruptcy case in the San Francisco Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.  LARC is a free service sponsored by the Justice & Diversity Center of The Bar Association of San Francisco.  Chinese and Spanish interpreters may be available, but please bring your own interpreter if you need one!
The Program is designed to assist persons who do not have a bankruptcy attorney.  LARC provides free direct legal advise and, in some instances, representation.  LARC cannot represent all such debtors due to income guidelines and other limitations.  LARC holds a monthly clinic.  Appointments are required all clinics.  To learn more about LARC's services, and to make an appointment at one of the clinics, please call (415) 989.1616.
