Who We Are
HALSA, Inc. provides direct legal services to low-income, HIV-positive residents of Los Angeles County. Clients must provide proof of income, residency, and HIV+ diagnosis. Services include public and private benefits, confidentiality, discrimination, healthcare access, immigration, housing, tax assistance, wills, and powers of attorney.

We also have a full-time outreach attorney who sees clients at 24 different sites, at pre-arranged times throughout LA County. If you are registered as a client at an AIDS service organization, contact your case manager about date and time of possible on-site legal clinic.
